February 3, 2018 – Youth Waterfowl Day

Event Title: Kids In Nature Annual Youth Waterfowl Day

Date:           Saturday, February 3

Time:          5:00 a.m.

Location:   Goose Creek Island, near the town of Hobucken, NC (2.5 hours east of Raleigh)

Join KIN for a day in the blind! Youth Waterfall Day with Kids In Nature is about camaraderie and connectedness; it’s about learning, conservation, and respect. Our guides will teach youth about zones of fire, hunting ethics and etiquette, and provided we are successful – cleaning, prepping, and preparing waterfowl for the table.

We will caravan from our Raleigh office on Friday (February 2) afternoon, arriving in Hobucken in the evening. We will prepare a meal and go over safety guidelines and prepare gear for the morning hunt. The hunt will take place in blinds on Jones Bay off the Pamlico Sound on Saturday morning.

This is a 2-night trip (Friday through Sunday). There is no fee to participate and all lodging is provided.

Pre-registration is required, and all youth attending the hunt must possess a valid NC Hunting License or must have Hunter Education Certification. Space is limited, so register today.

You can register HERE. Select “Youth Waterfowl Hunt” under Event section.
