The day will begin at the Boat Launch with a brief 30-45 minute instruction on boater safety, proper life-jacket use, and guidelines for the day provided by an officer from the North Carolina Wildlife Commission. All of those wishing to go out on the water must be present for the instructional period starting promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Space is limited to 30 kids, and pre-registration is required. Please click “Sign Up” above to register. Registration is FREE. Once you click the “Sign Up” button, select “Boating” under the “Name of Event” section. Registration is first-come-first-served, so don’t wait.
After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions and details.
Please note: KIN has a limited selection of life-jackets. If you and your child/children have your own life-jackets, please bring them with you. All children must have a parent or guardian present.
