November 18: Raleigh Christmas Parade – KIN IS IN!
On Saturday, November 18 – pack up the camping chairs, blankets, and the kids and head to Downtown Raleigh for the for the 73rd Annual 2017 ABC 11 Raleigh Christmas Parade.
Sit back and check out the sights, sounds, and the colossal festive float from Kids In Nature! That’s right, for the 5th year, Kids In Nature will be marching in the Raleigh Christmas Parade – complete with an outdoor theme, campfire, tree-stand, duck blind, ski slope, climbing wall, kayak, and more. You don’t want to miss us!
The Raleigh Christmas parade is the largest parade between Atlanta and Washington DC. Over 250,000 will watch the parade live from home and over 60,000 will attend the parade in person. The parade will last approximately 2.5 hours and will feature something for the whole family.
Parade Starts at 9:40 a.m.
The Route:
- Begins on Hillsborough Street at St. Mary’s Street
- proceeds to the State Capitol
- turns right onto Salisbury Street
- turns left onto Morgan St.
- Turns right onto Fayetteville St
- and continues to Lenoir Street where it disbands
